I am a licensed speech and language pathologist and feeding therapist. I have been providing diagnostic and therapeutic services to pediatric population since 2011. I specialize in the evaluations that lead to the following diagnoses: speech-language delay, mixed receptive-expressive language disorder, phonological delay/disorder, articulation disorder, apraxia of speech, fluency disorder (stuttering), orofacial myofunctional disorder, and feeding developmental delay.I also provide evaluations as part of a multidisciplinary team when children present with challenges in several areas of development. The most frequent diagnoses provided by the evaluation team are: autism spectrum disorder, global developmental delay, selective mutism, social (pragmatic) communication disorder, pediatric feeding disorder, and pediatric dysphagia, among others. In the evaluation report, the type, severity, cause, and treatment plan for individuals with communicative and feeding disorders are included. Referrals to other professionals such as occupational therapists, physical therapists, clinical psychologists, dentists, orthodontists, physicians and dietitians are often provided.
